Lithuanian City Service group expands building maintenance portfolio in Spain

City Service, the Lithuanian real estate maintenance group with operations in the Baltic states, Poland, Spain and Russia, has expanded its building maintenance portfolio in Spain, reports LETA/BNS.

The company said via the Warsaw stock exchange that it had signed two building maintenance contracts in and around Madrid.


According to the report, the contracts are in connection to maintenance of 308 residential buildings with 16,000 apartments. Revenue from the maintenance operations should amount to 700,000 euros per year.


City Service currently operates five building maintenance companies in Spain. In the first half of 2016, it posted turnover of 18.972 mln euros in Spain, down by 9.6% y-o-y.


All in all, City Service 41.5 mln square meters of buildings in the Baltic sates, Poland, Spain and St. Petersburg. The group's consolidated revenue stood at 83.865 mln euros in the first half of this year, which is a decline by 0.2%, from 83.739 mln euros, in January-June of 2015. The company's consolidated net profit dropped by a factor of 2.3 to 1.652 mln euros over the period.


City  Service's shares are quoted on the Parallel Market of the Warsaw stock exchange.
