Estonia's Merko Ehitus to reconstruct plant in Lithuania for EUR 11 mln

Merko Statyba, Lithuanian subsidiary of the listed Estonian construction group Merko Ehitus, has signed a contract with Philip Morris Lietuva to renovate and extend the latter's factory in Klaipeda reports LETA/BNS.
The construction works will cost approximately 11 mln euros plus value added tax, Merko Ehitus told the stock exchange. The works will start next month and are scheduled for completion in January 2018. Extension of the existing production facility and storage building forms the main part of the work.
