New truck registration in Latvia jumps 40.2% in January-September

The number of new trucks (commercial vehicles weighing over 16 tons) registered in Latvia in the first nine months of this year jumped 40.2 % against the same period last year to 1,102 vehicles, according to information from the Auto Association writes LETA.

The most popular truck bands included Volvo (550 vehicles), Scania (316), DAF (78) and Mercedes Benz (71).


A year ago, 786 new trucks were registered in Latvia in January-September.
