Vividum brings Denmark's BoConcept to Vilnius

Print versionVividum, a representative of the Scandinavian furniture maker Hastens, is opening a store in Vilnius under a franchise agreement with Denmark's furniture production and retail company BoConcept, cites LETA/BNS the Verslo Zinios information.

Giedrius Bruzge, acting director of the Asset Management Department at Eika, the developer of the capital's business center 135, where the store will be located, says that the arrival of BoConcept in Lithuania shows Vilnius' growing attractiveness to foreign investors.
Domas Jakutis, director of the bedroom furniture and mattress manufacturer Lonas, believes that BoConcept, which offers interior solutions, competes in part with Ikea.
Saulius Maleckas, director of Klaipedos Baldu Prekyba, the owner of the local retail chain Berry, thinks that BoConcept's arrival is good news to buyers and a sign of recognition of the Lithuanian market.
