HansaMatrix launches two investment projects totaling EUR 1.15 mln

Latvian high technology company HansaMatrix has launched two investment projects with total value of EUR 1.15 mln, the company said in a statement to the Nasdaq Riga stock exchange.

HansaMatrix will invest EUR 800,000 in the form of a convertible loan to hi-tech infrastructure development company Zinatnes Parks and EUR 350,000 in additional surface mount assembly line at HansaMatrix manufacturing plant in Ventspils, north-western Latvia.


Investment into Zinatnes Parks will be split into several tranches and made from own funds at the request from the company over a four-month period. Investment in the assembly equipment at the Ventpils plant will be financed from mixed sources - own funds and leasing funding, HansaMatrix said.


Zinatnes Parks is hi-tech infrastructure development company that has started developing science and hi-tech industrial site in the territory of Riga International Airport.HansaMatrix owns 24% of shares in Zinatnes Parks.


Investment in the additional surface mount assembly line in HansaMatrix Ventspils plant will eliminate existing bottlenecks and help increase output.


HansaMatrix is a high-technology company offering product design, industrialization and complete manufacturing services in data networking, Internet of Things, industrial segments and other services to high added value business segments.


HansaMatrix shares are quoted on the Main List of the Nasdaq Riga stock exchange.
