BC, Tallinn, 29.09.2016.Print version
A newly established company, RCM Invest OU, has taken over running the popular Tallinn concert venue Rock Cafe after the bankruptcy of the previous owner, RC Meelelahutuse OU, writes LETA/BNS.
RCM Invest was established two months ago and belongs to Hander Latt. Rock Cafe has announced that it will reopen under a new management on Oct. 24.
Before that the venue will be refurbished, a new sound system installed and upgrades made to the lighting system and other installations.
"Life goes on and nature abhors a vacuum – Rock Cafe is a new and interesting challenge for us. There has to be a concert club like this in every capital city," Enar Essenson, program manager for Rock Cafe, said.
The Harju county court declared RC Meelelahutuse OU bankrupt in mid-August. The company's debt was estimated at the time to total some 200,000 euros. The first meeting of creditors took place on Sept. 27.
