UEFA Super Cup final to take place in Tallinn in 2018

"It is definitely a great recognition of Estonian
football and a gift to Estonian football fans. A match between the winners of
the Champions League and the Europa League is the absolute top match to take
place in Estonia. I wish to thank everybody who helped with the decision being
made, on the national, local as well as the Football Association level,"
head of the association Aivar Pohlak said.
The winner of the UEFA Champions League and the winner of
the UEFA Europa League are to meet in the final of the UEFA Super Cup. The
match is broadcast in more than 200 countries around the world.
The match in Tallinn will take place on Aug. 14, 2018 at Lillekula
Arena, also known as A. Le Coq Arena.
"I am especially glad that we were able to make a great
contribution to celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the Republic of
Estonia," Pohlak added.
