BC, Tallinn, 24.08.2016.Print version
The Estonian state-owned postal and logistics services company AS Eesti Post operating under the Omniva brand is planning to buy 30 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) for delivering post, reports LETA/BNS.
According to spokesman for Omniva, Mattias Kaiv,
the ATVs would be used instead of bicycles or delivering post. He told that
post workers would not need driver's licenses to drive the ATVs but would
instead be trained by the company.
Eesti Post is to purchase
the ATVs in two years and can also buy 20% more or less ATVs, it is written in
the tender's information sheet.
