BC, Riga, 28.06.2016.Print version
Apranga LV, the Lithuanian-controlled owner of Zara fashion stores in Latvia, closed 2015 with higher turnover and profit, reports LETA, according to Firmas.lv business database.

The company posted EUR 12.33 million in annual turnover compared to EUR 11.59 million in 2014, while the company's profit grew 6.5% to EUR 1.23 million.

The company’s management said that no new Zara stores were opened in Latvia last year. Despite the negative trends in the flow of foreign tourists, the company has managed to achieve good results thanks to the growth in local demand.

This spring Zara opened an online store. Also, the company will focus on training the staff and raise the staff’s competence, the management said.

Established in 2004, Apranga LV has a share capital of EUR 142,287. The company belongs to Lithuania's Apranga Akcine Prekybos Bendrove.
