Estonian Norma lifts sales to EUR 68.7 mln in 2015

The Estonian car safety equipment manufacturer Norma, a holding of the Swedish Autoliv, increased sales by 7% to 68.7 million euros in 2015 and its profit by 2.3-fold to 4.2 million euros, it can be seen from the company's annual report, cites LETA/BNS.

Norma exported 97.6% of its output last year. Its principal export market in 2015 was the European Union that accounted for 66% of total exports, while the United State become the company's second biggest export market. Hungary, Poland and Romania followed.

 

The share of Russia declined to 6% and the country placed seventh among Norma's export partners last year. Products of Norma were sold to 30 countries altogether.

 

In 2015 the group invested 3.4 million euros.

 

Norma employed an average of 868 people during the year, 4% more than a year earlier. The group's payroll costs totaled 12.5 million euros.
