E-communications market in Lithuania grew by 5% in Q1

Lithuania's electronic communications market revenues grew by 5% in the first quarter to 160.322 million euros, from 152.645 million euros in the same period last year, final data from the Communications Regulatory Authority (RRT) showed on June 22nd, cites LETA/BNS.

Quarter-on-quarter, the market's revenues rose by 1%.

 

Combined revenues of mobile communications operators increased by an annual 8% to 57.9 million euros. Fixed-line telephone operators saw their revenues fall by 7.7% to 11.5 million euros. Revenues from Internet access services rose by 3% to 32 million euros.

 

Investment in the electronic communications network infrastructure soared more than twofold year-on-year to 38.9 million euros in January through March.
