VNT participates in the Sustainability Index for the fourth year, the achieved results is a direct testimony to the company’s high performance in corporate responsibility and sustainability, as well as to the company’s successfully implemented policy of coordinating employees’ work and family life.
VNT Managing Director Lars Pantzlaff emphasizes: “I am satisfied with the evaluation and would like to thank VNT’s employees for the professional teamwork, helping to achieve positive results. Despite the fact that often we face challenges on a local level, we are proving that corporate responsibility is a part of our daily work. To hold positions as an influential and dynamic market segment representative, we need to put thought into a modern company management approach. The participation in the Sustainability Index, the event “Responsible idea market” and the received status of “Family friendly company” describes the company’s culture, which manifests in relations with employees and cooperation partners.”
Sustainability Index is organised in Latvia for the seventh year, it is a strategic management instrument based on experience of the most influential global indices Dow Jones Sustainability Index and Business in the Community CR Index, and internationally recognised methodology in five categories: strategy, work environment, market relations, environment and society or the local community. Partners of the initiative are the Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility Institute, Employers’ Confederation of Latvia and the Free Trade Union Confederation of Latvia.
