Lithuania's oil product and liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals operator Klaipedos Nafta (Klaipeda Oil) said on May 6th that its total revenue for January through April 2016 rose by 9.9% year-on-year to reach 39.82 million euros, informs LETA/BNS.

"Our transshipment and revenue figures remained stable compared with April of last year thanks to our work with customers and the terminal's flexibility that allows handling different types of products," Klaipedos Nafta CEO Mantas Bartuska said in a press release.

"This year we remain committed to making use of our strengths and enhancing effectiveness through investment," he added.

The oil product terminal's revenue for the four months increased by 6.5% year-on-year to 14.8 million euros and the LNG terminal's revenue went up by 11.6% to 24.1 million euros.

The company's monthly revenue for April fell by 5.2% from a year earlier to 9.2 million euros.

Oil product loadings at the terminal grew by 42.5% in January through April year-on-year to 2.839 million tons and the LNG terminal's regasification volumes surged by 250% to 6.478 million megawatt-hours (MWh) of gas.

In April alone, these volumes were up by an annual 5.1% to 518,000 tons and by 200% to 1.39 million MWh, respectively.

The strongest growth in April was recorded in the handling of light oil products from the Mazeikiai crude refinery and Belarus' plants, the company said.
