Estonia's export of wooden houses soars 30% in 2015

Print versionEstonian manufacturers of wooden houses exported their output to 52 countries in 2015 and exports amounted to 278 million euros, 28.2% more than in 2014, reports LETA/BNS.

The biggest export market was Norway, where Estonian manufacturers of wooden homes have doubled their sales since 2011 to 95 million euros last year. Next came Sweden with 50.7 million euros, figures available from Statistics Estonia show.
Germany was the third biggest export market with 48 million euros, the UK fourth with 20.8 million euros, France fifth with 16.2 million euros, Finland sixth with 14.1 million euros and Netherlands seventh with 7.7 million euros.
A reduction was registered in export to Russia and Denmark.
