BC, Vilnius, 19.04.2016.Print version
The Lithuanian printing industry's domestic sales rose by 5.5% in 2015 compared with 2014 to 377 million euros and their exports remained close to the previous year's level at 186 million euros, the business daily Verslo Zinios reported on April 19th.

Russia remains the industry's chief export market, but its share of the overall export portfolio is on the decline, writes LETA/BNS.

Revenue in Russia fell by one-third last year compared with 2014 to 32.2 million euros.

Arturas Karosas, director of BALTO Print and president of the Association of Lithuanian Printing Industries, says that in line with expectations, an increasing number of printing houses have reorientated their exports from the economically-troubled Russia to Western markets.
