Aldaris sales director Arturs Ilzins said that the value of the premium beer segment in the Latvian beer market is about EUR 21 million, and in the coming years this segment is expected to retain its position despite the drop in the beer market in general.

Aldaris’ market share is Latvia is about 30%.

Aldaris in 2013 decided to focus on premium class or craft beer production, and moving production of cheaper or PET beers to other Carlsberg group breweries in Lithuania and Estonia.
