Albright Lithuania approaching peak production level

BC, Vilnius, 11.02.2016.Print version
Albright Lietuva, the UK-owned manufacturer of switches and contactors located in the free economic zone (FEZ) of Klaipeda, plans to reach the peak production level in 2016 and will then consider options for expansion, look for new premises or start working in several shifts, the Verslo Zinios business daily reports on February 11th, cites LETA/BNS.

“It looks like this year we’ll assemble the maximum number of switches that can be produced in the current premises in a one-shift mode. Shareholders don’t have any thoughts about the expansion of the plant as there’s no more free land in the FEZ around our factory. There’s still a possibility to increase the output by introducing several shifts in the future. However, there’re no plans to do that in the near time,” Ramunas Barcevicius, Albright Lietuva executive director, told the daily.

In 2015, the company’s sales rose by one-third and the output of switches increased by approximately 20% to 1.2 million units. This year, the output is expected to grow by another 10%.
