Lithuania's liquefied natural gas (LNG) and oil product terminals operator Klaipedos Nafta (Klaipeda Oil) said on February 4th that its total revenue for January rose to 10.7 million euros, up 17.6% from 9.1 million euros a year earlier, reports LETA/BNS.

Its oil product terminal and the Subacius fuel base last month generated 4.8 million euros in revenue, a rise of 29.7% year-on-year. The LNG terminal's revenue increased by 9.3% to 5.9 million euros.

Oil product loadings rose by 25.4% year-on-year to 790,000 tons.

"The results for January exceeded our targets and expectations, but we achieved these results not only thanks to our efficiency and flexibility, but also thanks to optimally-tuned operations and successful cooperation by our main customers, especially Orlen Lietuva," Klaipedos Nafta CEO Mantas Bartuska said in a press release.

The Klaipeda LNG terminal's monthly regasification volume more than doubled in January from a year earlier to reach an all-time high of 1.07 million megawatt-hours (MWh) of gas.

The state-controlled company is listed on the Current List of the Nasdaq Vilnius stock exchange.
