Estonian Omniva's revenue grew by 27% to EUR 76 mln in 2015
"The biggest increase was registered in the revenue of international services, backed up by a 11% rise in Baltic parcel volumes," Omniva CEO Aavo Karmas said in a press release.
In logistics services, revenue from services provided with the help of parcel machines grew the most or by 61% in the Baltic countries.
"Expansion of the network to new regions all over the Baltics definitely played an important role in this," Karmas said.
The domestic letter service continues to be on a downtrend. Revenue from the letter service dropped by 9% or almost a million euros and volumes were down by 15.3%.
Bills sent out by businesses and institutions, which are moving increasingly into electronics channels, account for almost 86% of the volume of the letter service now.
