The cruise operator Norwegian Cruise Line will next year bring Norwegian Getaway, the currently second newest ship in its fleet, to Europe for the first time since its delivery in 2014 to operate the Baltic Capitals cruise from Copenhagen or Warnemunde, informs LETA/BNS.

Tallinn is one of the stopovers on that cruise.

The ship will replace the Norwegian Star, which has a capacity of less than two-thirds of the 3,963-passenger capacity of Norwegian Getaway.

Norwegian Getaway will sail a nine-night Baltic Capitals cruise from Copenhagen from May 16 to Sept. 28, 2017, with stops in Warnemunde, Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki and Stockholm. Guests will also have the possibility to embark in Warnemunde, with the first sailing departing the city on May 17.

The Baltic Capitals cruise is operated now by Norwegian Star, a ship built in 2001 that has a capacity of 2,348 passengers. The ship is scheduled to make 12 stopovers in Tallinn during the 2016 cruise season.
