Olainfarm purchases Latvian organic cosmetics producer Kiwi Cosmetics

Earlier this week, Latvian pharmaceutical company joint-stock Olainfarm purchased 100% shares in Latvian organic cosmetic producer Kiwi Cosmetics, Olainfarm spokeswoman Sigita Lapsina informed LETA.

The details of the deal have not been made known.

 

Lapsina informs that this deal will allow both companies to expand and optimize production, as well as enter new markets.

 

The current management team of Kiwi Cosmetics will remain with the company.

 

According to provisional data, Kiwi Cosmetics achieved EUR 123,000 in turnover last year.

 

Kiwi Cosmetics co-founder Agate Jurkovska-Kanca points out that the company was created five years ago, and from the initial five products it produced (facial and hand creams), the company now produces over 70 different organic cosmetics products.

 

At the moment, Kiwi Cosmetics sells 30% of its products on the Latvian market, while 70% are exported to: Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Czech Republic, Estonia, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, Spain, Germany and Sweden.
