Vilniaus Degtine to launch exports to Russia

“The products of the company and the concern are supplied to the Baltic markets, as well as to Ukraine, Belarus and Georgia on a regular basis. In September, we signed deals on the supply of products to Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. Early in December, we will launch the supply to Russia,” the company said in a filing to the NASDAQ Vilnius Stock Exchange on Monday.
Since early 2015, Vilniaus Degtine has been marketing the products of Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits (MBWS) concern in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Eastern European and CIS countries.
In January through September, the revenue of the Lithuanian company rose by an annual 4.2% to 41.26 million euros.
Its exports to the EU and the third countries soared by 55.5% to 3.775 million euros.
The net profit rose by 7.5% year-on-year to 779,700 euros.
Belvedere owns 68.29% of shares in Vilniaus Degtine through Poland’s Sobieski.
