Ventspils nafta posts EUR 26.89 mln in 9-month profit

Print versionJoint-stock oil company Ventspils nafta and its subsidiaries operated with EUR 26.89 million in profit in the first nine months of the year 2015, informs LETA, according to the company's financial report submitted to the ''Nasdaq'' Riga Stock Exchange.

The company also reports that consolidated income rose by 8.1% to EUR 134.91 million in the first nine months of the year, while gross profit increased by 18.8% to EUR 39.77 million.
Ventspils nafta is one of the largest groups of companies in Latvia and works in the petroleum product transport, transshipment, storage, and shipping sector.
Euromin Holding (Cyprus) Limited, a Vitol group company, is the largest shareholder in Ventspils nafta with 98.96% of shares.
Ventspils nafta shares are quoted in the Baltic Official List of "NASDAQ OMX Riga" since October 20, 1998.
