Latvias Finieris – wood processing industry leader in 2015

Print versionThe joint-stock plywood maker Latvijas Finieris remains the leader of the wood processing industry with EUR 193 million in 2014 turnover, according to the Latvian Business Annual Report 2015 compiled by Firmas.lv and LETA.

The forest industry's TOP 10 by turnover in 2015 also has not changed and lists Kronospan Riga (formerly Bolderaja LTD) with EUR 164 million, AKZ with EUR 60 million, Vika Wood with EUR 59 million, Gaujas koks with EUR 55 million, Biko-Latvia with EUR 54 million, Kurekss with EUR 51 million, Ormus with EUR 49 million, United Panel Group Europe with EUR 40 million and BSW Latvia with EUR 38 million.
As told the chairman of the Board of Latvijas Finieris Uldis Biķis, this year continued the trend in the industry to plan the operation and cover a wider area, which ensures a stable supply of resources, effective redistribution of functions, low cost and a variety of products.
