Econdo Production, a Norwegian-owned Lithuanian manufacturer of prefabricated wooden houses, is looking to acquire land to build a new factory as it is planning to expand production amid stable revenue growth, the business daily Verslo Zinios reported on Tuesday, cites LETA/BNS.

"We manufactured about 43,000 square meters of prefabricated house elements two years ago and doubled our production output last year. We do not expect such a big jump in production this year, but we will post growth," Econdo Production Managing Director Adomas Giedraitis told the paper.

"We already have a portfolio of orders for 110,000 square meters of products for next year. Our existing production facility will have to operate at its maximum capacity to meet the orders," he said.

Econdo Production, which is owned by Norway's Rebelio AS, has been operating in Gargzdai, in western Lithuania, for nine years. The company currently has a 3,500-square-meter production facility.
