In July, the turnover of retail trade enterprises in Lithuania grew by 5.9%

Statistics Lithuania informs that, based on provisional data, in July 2015, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises* amounted to EUR 816.7 million; against June 2015, it increased by 5.9% at constant prices (seasonally and working day adjusted – remained unchanged).

Over a month, the turnover of enterprises trading in food products increased by 8.1%, of those engaged in trading in non-food products – 6.6%, of those engaged in retail trade in automotive fuels –0.2% at constant prices.

 

In July 2015, against July 2014, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises increased by 5% at constant prices (working day adjusted – 5.3%). The turnover of enterprises trading in food products increased by 3.9, of those engaged in retail trade in non-food products – 7.2, of those engaged in retail trade in automotive fuels – 3.3% at constant prices.

In July 2015, the turnover (VAT excluded) of food and beverage service enterprises amounted to EUR 50.4 million and, against June 2015, increased by 12.1% at constant prices (seasonally and working day adjusted – remained unchanged). Compared to July 2014, the turnover of enterprises engaged in the said activities increased by 4.7% at constant prices (working day adjusted – by 4.5%).
