Starting from 26 October 2015, Estonian Air will serve the Örebro-Copenhagen route. The flights will be operated twice a day on workdays and once a day on Sundays with CRJ700 aircraft. The service agreement is valid until 25 October 2018, reports BC airline’s press service.

Estonian Air has two business lines: serving direct flights of strategic importance for Estonia and of substantial demand, and providing capacity to several major airlines in Europe and Scandinavia.

“The new agreement is an addition to our capacity providing business line which helps us to reach profitability and sustainable operations, and thus support Estonian Air’s core business – to ensure daily direct air connections to strategically important destinations for Estonia today and in the future,” said Indrek Randveer, the CCO of Estonian Air.

The route will be operated in cooperation with SAS under code share agreement.

In addition, starting from October 2015, Estonian Air will operate on Gällivare-Arvidsjaur-Stockholm Arlanda route. The flights will be operated with CRJ900 aircraft, and the service agreement is valid until 24 October 2019.

Estonian Air, founded in 1991 and headquartered in Tallinn, is the largest carrier at Tallinn Airport.

Estonian Air currently operates a total of six aircraft: three Embraer 170 and three Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft. In September two CRJ700 aircraft will be added to the fleet.
