Estonian Air managed to earn a profit during summer months

Print versionIn June, as well as in July 2015, the national carrier Estonian Air earned a profit of an average of 200,000 euros, writes LETA/National Broadcasting.

The last time the airline managed to earn a profit during summer months was in 2010.
“Profits earned during the summer months indicates that our restructuring plan has created a solid basis for sustainable operations,” said Indrek Randveer, a member of the Management Board of the enterprise.
He emphasised, however, that the coming autumn-winter season usually brings with it a low season in terms of flights, and this year is planned to earn a loss for the company.
“Our results thus far have been slightly better than our budget sets out, and by the end of next year our objective is to break even,” said Randveer.
