Apranga opens first Zara Home store in Baltic States in Vilnius

On 20 August 2015, Apranga Group, the leading fashion retailer in Lithuania and the Baltic States, has opened the first Zara Home store in the Baltic States. The store in Vilnius has 530 sq. m. gross area, including 342 sq. m. of sales area, Apranga Group reported BC.

"Zara Home is the 100th store of Apranga Group in Lithuania. It is symbolic, that it has been opened in the largest shopping centre in the Baltic States in terms of turnover and customer traffic – Vilnius Akropolis," says Rimantas Perveneckas, General Director of Apranga Group.

 

"We are delighted that Zara Home chose Vilnius Akropolis for the first step in Lithuania and the Baltic States. The brand, which develops unique assortment and is known across the globe, will enable to strengthen our positions in the home decor sector," says Dovile Siekstelyte-Batutiene, Director of Akropolis LT, which manages SC Akropolis in Vilnius, Klaipeda and Siauliai.

 

Apranga Group partnership with the Inditex Group started in 2004. Zara Home is the sixth concept of the Inditex Group developed by Apranga Group in the Baltic States. Currently Apranga Group manages 11 Zara, 8 Bershka, 8 Pull and Bear, 7 Massimo Dutti and 6 Stradivarius stores. Zara Home in Akropolis Vilnius is the 41st store of Inditex in the Baltic States. The total area of the stores comes to 27 thousand sq. m.

 

Currently Apranga Group operates a chain of 168 stores in the Baltic States: 100 in Lithuania, 45 in Latvia and 23 in Estonia. Shares of Apranga are listed on Baltic equity list on the Nasdaq Vilnius Stock Exchange. Majority shareholder of Apranga Group is concern MG Baltic.
