Neste Latvija posted EUR 8.6 mln in profit in 2014

Print versionFuel retail company Neste Latvija increased turnover by 7% in 2014, when compared to 2013, reaching EUR 350 million, the company informed LETA.

The company also achieved EUR 8.6 million in profit (after tax) last year.
Last year, the company invested EUR 2.8 million in its operations in Latvia, as well as paid-in EUR 139 million into the state budget.
In 2014, the company continued expanding its operations in Latvia by opening up four new fuel stations – two in Riga, one in Olaine and one in Vecumnieki.
Neste Latvija is a subsidiary of the Finnish oil processing and trade company Neste Oil Oy. 50.1% of Neste Oil shares belong to Finland.
Since the company began its operations in Latvia in the early 1990's, Neste Latvija has invested over EUR 65 million in Latvia.
