Baltika’s retail sales for July increased in the Baltic States by 8%, thereof increased in Estonia by 19% and in Latvia by 1%. Retail sales in Lithuania decreased by 2%. In Russia, retail sales decreased by 39% compared to same period previous year. In local currency, sales decreased in Russia by 15%. In the same period sales area in Russia decreased by 24%. Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for July was 4.566 million euros, increasing 1% compared to the same period last year.

At the end of July, Baltika Group had 131 stores, among which franchise stores – 5 in Russia, 5 in Spain, 2 in Belarus and 15 operating franchise stores in Ukraine. Average month sales area of shops operated by Baltika remained at the last year same period level.

Wholesale decreased by 3% compared to July in previous year, e-com sales increased over three times, i.e. 273%.

Sales revenue for seven months totalled 30.555 million euros, increasing 1.5% compared to the same period last year. Retail sales revenue was 26.800 million euros (-3% yoy), thereof the Baltic states sales increased by 4%. At the same period the Group’s average retail sales area decreased by 2%. Wholesale was 3.121 million euros (+44% yoy) and e-com revenues 573 thousand euros (+249% yoy).

In connection with Baltika’s reorganisation of Ukrainian retail business and selling the company there (agreement was signed on 29 April 2014), the sales revenue of the Ukrainian entity is presented as discontinued operation. Sales announcement presents only the results of continuing operations unless indicated otherwise.
