In June, the turnover of retail trade and catering enterprises increased in Lithuania

Statistics Lithuania informs that, based on provisional data, in June 2015, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises* amounted to EUR 772.8 million; against May 2015, it increased by 1.1% at constant prices (seasonally and working day adjusted – increased by 0.8%).

Over a month, the turnover of enterprises trading in food products increased by 0.5%, of those engaged in trading in non-food products – 0.4%, of those engaged in retail trade in automotive fuels –3.7% at constant prices.

 

In June 2015, against June 2014, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises increased by 7.5% at constant prices (working day adjusted – 7.1%). The turnover of enterprises trading in food products increased by 4.8, of those engaged in retail trade in non-food products – 8, of those engaged in retail trade in automotive fuels – 12.1% at constant prices.

 

In June 2015, the turnover (VAT excluded) of food and beverage service enterprises amounted to EUR 43.9 million and, against May 2015, increased by 1.3% at constant prices (seasonally and working day adjusted – increased by 1.1%). Compared to June 2014, the turnover of enterprises engaged in the said activities increased by 5.8% at constant prices (working day adjusted – by 5.9%).
