Benu aptieka network's profit increases by 53.5% in 2014

Benu aptieka network increased its profit by 53.5% in 2014 in Latvia, reports LETA, according to Firmas.lv information.

Last year, Benu aptieka Latvija earned EUR 903,456, but in 2013 – EUR 588,542. The company's turnover last year increased 12%, reaching EUR 37.8 million. In 2013, the company turned over EUR 33.8 million.

 

The company's management report says that last year's results were positively affected by the improving economic situation and improvements in the company's operations.

 

Positive results were achieved thanks to excellent management of product groups, the improving pharmaceutical care quality standards in drugstores, as well as incorporation of three stores into the Benu aptieka network.

 

Several drugstores also underwent large-scale renovations, with the total amount of investments exceeding EUR 300,000.

 

Benu aptieka Latvija, previously known as Hansa Pharma, was founded on March 31, 1995, and belongs to Phoenix Baltics Holding. The company's share capital is EUR 3,333,410.
