The turnover of retail trade enterprises in Lithuania grew by 1.4%

Statistics Lithuania informs that, based on provisional data, in May 2015, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises* amounted to EUR 745.8 million; against April 2015, it increased by 1.4% at constant prices (seasonally adjusted – decreased by 1.2%).

Over a month, the turnover of enterprises trading in food products increased by 3.7%, of those engaged in trading in non-food products – 1.2%, of those engaged in retail trade in automotive fuels – decreased by 2.7% at constant prices.

 

In May 2015, against May 2014, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises increased by 1.2% at constant prices (working day adjusted – 2.4%). The turnover of enterprises trading in food products increased by 1.1, of those engaged in retail trade in automotive fuels – 1.7, of those engaged in retail trade in non-food products – 1% at constant prices.

 

In May 2015, the turnover (VAT excluded) of food and beverage service enterprises amounted to EUR 42.2 million and, against April 2015, increased by 9.6% at constant prices (seasonally and working day adjusted – decreased by 0.5%). Compared to May 2014, the turnover of enterprises engaged in the said activities decreased by 0.8% at constant prices (working day adjusted – by 0.9%).
