Last year, beverage producer Cido grupa exported 21% of its total produce. The majority - 63% - was exported to Lithuania and Estonia, 25% - to Europe, 12% - to Russia and elsewhere, as the company's general manager told Marijus Kirstukas, reported LETA.

The most popular export products last year were ice tea, kvas, juices, and nectars.

Meanwhile, the company's Lacplesis beer brand is popular in countries with large Latvian communities, for example, in Great Britain and Ireland. Mineral water Mangali is popular in Russia's Kaliningrad Oblast.

"Last year, we managed to attain the best results over the past years, furthermore, taking into account the geopolitical situation, export volumes to Russia and other CIS countries have significantly reduced. We managed to refocus and facilitate exports in other markets in both the European Union and outside of it. Our farthest and most exotic markets are China, Canada, and the United States," said Kirstukas.

The company exports its produce to about 20 countries all over the world - Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, Malta, Israel, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, the United States, Canada, China, the United Arab Emirates, Lithuania, and Estonia.

In 2013, Cido grupa turned over EUR 55.91 million and earned EUR 2.42 million. Last year, the company turned over EUR 49.41 million, but suffered losses in the amount of EUR 32,188.
