Latvian metal building structure manufacturer S.B.C. turnover grew by 12% in 2014

The metal building structure manufacturer S.B.C. turned over EUR 22,816,783 last year, which is 12% more than in 2013, reports LETA, according to Firmas.lv information.

In 2013, S.B.C. turned over EUR 20,399,549.

 

Last year, S.B.C. earned EUR 147,950, which is about ten times more than in 2013, when the company earned EUR 14,221.

 

S.B.C. management report says that in 2014, the company produced 13,091 tons of metal building structures, which is 28% more compared with 2013, when the company produced 249 tons of metal structures.

 

This mainly thanks to active cooperation with foreign, mostly Scandinavian (Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, and Icelandic) partners. One of the largest partners – Norway's Contiga Holding – offered investments and in 2013, acquired 49% of S.B.C. shares.

 

Export volume last year grew by 10% or EUR 1,811,286. The company has signed several long-term agreements with Scandinavian companies that are interested in expanding cooperation and increasing production volume.

 

S.B.C. was founded in 2004. Its share capital is EUR 1,138,539. The company belongs to Norway-based Contiga Holding (49%), Egils Janisels (24,99%), Juris Reimanis (24,99%), and Agnese Ozolina (1,02%).
