New profit and turnover records for Valmiera Glass group in Q1

Print versionLatvian Fiberglass producer Valmiera Glass (Valmiera stikla skiedr) achieved a 14% increase in net turnover in the first quarter of 2015, according to Valmiera Glass group's consolidated non-audited financial results for the first quarter, reports LETA.

The group's turnover increased EUR 4.13 million from the first quarter of 2014 to a total of EUR 32.7 million in the first quarter this year, and consolidated net profit rose 77% to EUR 3.51 million.
During the first quarter of 2015, Valmiera Glass group continued to consolidate its market positions and increase its production capacity. In order to maintain the momentum and growth in the long term, Valmiera Glass U.S. branch, Valmiera Glass USA Corp., opened in March 2015.
Taking into consideration the results for the first quarter of 2015, Valmiera Glass is confident about attaining its net turnover and profit projections for 2015 – EUR 127.7 million and EUR 10.77 million respectively.
