Troja earns more than one million euros in 2014

For the first time ever, the profit of Troja, a subsidiary of the Latvian plywood maker Latvijas Finieris, exceeded one million euros last year, reaching EUR 1.626 million, which is 8% more than in 2013, when the company earned EUR 951,986, reports LETA, according to information provided by Firmas.lv.

The company's turnover in 2014 reached EUR 20.84 million, as compared with EUR 18.80 million in 2013.

 

According to Troja management report, the company will distribute EUR 124,400 in dividends to its shareholders. The company is to make provisions in the amount of EUR 1,502,414.

 

In 2014, the company's main focus was on industrial consumers – producers of transport constructions and construction devices.

 

Last year, Troja produced 24,500 cubic meters of plywood, which is 3.3% more than in 2013. The produce was exported to 31 countries, mainly to Germany, France, Sweden, and Holland. Compared with 2013, the company's export volume to Germany has grown by 28%.

 

Troja was founded in Riga in 1992. Its share capital is EUR 2,799,000. The company has a staff of 131 people.
