Print versionInvesting EUR 100,000, a new Subway sandwich shop has been opened at the ''Olimpia'' shopping center in Riga, the board chairman of Submarine Latvia Ltd. Aigars Kaugars informed LETA.

The sandwich shop is 100 square meters, and has created eight new jobs.
''Our experience in Estonia, as well as the success of the other Subway sandwich shops opened up in Riga last year, show that Subway is popular in the Baltics,'' Kaugars pointed out.
This is the fourth Subway sandwich shop opened in Latvia.
The company informs that Subway is one of the healthiest fast food concepts, with every sandwich made to order. Bread is baked in every Subway restaurant so freshness is the standard.
Submarine Latvia, the Subway franchise holder in Latvia, was established on February 6 this year. The company's share capital is EUR 2,800, it belongs to Baltic Restaurant Business.
