Talinna Kaubamaja sales revenue grew by 7% in 2014

The consolidated unaudited sales revenue of the Tallinna Kaubamaja Group in 2014 was 533.3 million euros, having grown by 6.9% compared to the result of 2013, when the sales revenue was 498.7 million euros, the Estonian supermarket and department store operator informed the Tallinn stock exchange, cites LETA.

In the fourth quarter, the group’s sales revenue was 143.8 million euros, which is 4.0% more than the sales revenue earned the year before. Revenue growth was in line with the group's expectations.

 

The consolidated sales revenue of the supermarket segment in the 2014 was 366.8 million euros, a growth of 6.9% compared to last year. The consolidated sales revenue of the fourth quarter was 97.8 million euros, 6.2% more than last year. The sales revenue of goods in comparable stores for the fourth quarter of 2014 was indicating an increase of 1.2%, in summary comparable net sales of 2014 decreased for 0.7%.

 

The sales revenue of the department store business segment for the 2014 was 92.2 million euros, having grown by 2.9% compared to the previous year. Of that, the sales revenue of the fourth quarter was 28.0 million euros, 3.8% more than the revenue of the fourth quarter 2013. The sales revenue of OÜ TKM Beauty Eesti, which operates the I.L.U. beauty stores, was 4.6 million euros in the 2014, 1.2% higher than in the previous year. Of that, the sales revenue of the fourth quarter was 1.6 million euros, 2.5% more compared to the comparable period of 2013.

 

The sales revenue of the vehicle trade segment for the 2014 was 57.7 million euros. The sales revenue exceeded the revenue of the last year by 20.1%; the sales revenue of KIAs increased by 16.9%. The sales revenue of 13.9 million euros generated in the fourth quarter was lower than the sales revenue of the year before by 1.3%; the sales revenue of KIAs increased by 14.2%.

 

The turnover of the footwear segment in the 2014 was 13.3 million euros, having decreased by 9.4% in a year. In the fourth quarter, the turnover was 3.1 million euros, showing a decrease of 22.4% compared to the same period of 2013.

 

The sales revenue of the business segment of real estate outside the group totalled to 3.3 million euros in 2014. Sales revenue increased 1.1% compared to the previous year. The extra-group sales revenue of the fourth quarter was 0.8 million euros, having decreased by 10.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
