In November, retail trade turnover grew by 4.7% in Latvia y-o-y
Compared to October, the total retail trade turnover at current prices, not taking into account seasonality, in November decreased by 6.7%. A year ago – in November 2013, compared to October 2013 – turnover declined by 5.5%.

Compared to November 2013, the total retail trade turnover in November 2014 increased by 4.7%, according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices. Rise in food commodity group accounted for 0.3%. Turnover of non-food commodity group increased by 7.5%, of which in retail sale of automotive fuel – by 16.1%.
Compared to November 2013 the total retail trade turnover at current prices rose by 3.1% in November 2014 (not taking into account the calendar influence).

In the first eleven months of 2014, as compared to the same period of the 2013, retail trade turnover grew by 3.8%, according to calendar adjusted data. Rise in food commodity group accounted for 3.9%, and retail trade in non-food products grew by 3.6%.
