The organisers of the conference Canton Import and Export Fair: Gateway to China are convinced that the companies of Lithuania do have something to offer to the Chinese consumers.

The organisers of the Canton Fair believe that Lithuanian produce can prove fairly successful in China. Wood industry companies of Lithuania have been particularly active on the Chinese market as timber accounts for 32.42% of all Lithuanian export to China, while furniture and their parts make another 14.17% of the export volume to China.

China commends other Lithuanian products as well. The organisers of the Canton Fair, who have visited the country several times by far, said that they were impressed with honey and its products made in Lithuania. Over the last years, the Chinese businessmen have also been increasingly interested in Lithuania's food, paper, textile, metal and chemical products industry.
