"Baltic Real Estate" exhibition takes place in Riga

Today through April 13, the international real estate exhibition "Baltic Real Estate" takes place in Riga, with 53 companies participating, LETA was informed by the exhibition organizers LatExpo.

Companies from Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Costa Rica, Brazil and Finland plan to participate in the exhibition with their projects.

 

This year the exhibition will feature presentations of new projects from both Latvia and abroad that have already been implemented, as well as projects that are yet being planned. Market leaders will offer the possibility to find out full information about real estate in different categories – new construction projects, exclusive properties, country houses, realty that needs reconstruction, as well as real estate abroad.

 

The exhibition will be organized in two sections – "Latvia Real Estate" and "Real Estate Abroad". 60 percent of the participants in the spring exhibition are from Latvia.

 

Today one of the planned activities is a roundtable discussion about the future tendencies on real estate market in Latvia. The main topics to be discussed are: the main specifics of the realty in Latvia, possible tendencies and scenarios of future development, how to attract foreign investors and how to manage business abroad.

 

The participants in the discussion will be representatives from Latvia's ministries, professional associations, property development companies and commercial banks, as well as scientists and press representatives.

 

The exhibition will take place in the Olympic Sports Center, 6b Grostonas Street, Riga. The opening of the exhibition will take place today at 12 p.m., with the participation of Riga Vice-Mayor Andris Argalis (People's Party).
