The designers – Aigars Lenkevics, Anda Munkevica, Andra Gulbe, Andra Racenaja, Baiba Nastevica, Gunars Platpirs, Inara Liepa, Ingrida Zagata and Janis Straupe, have been working together for six months to present to the international community the achievements of Latvian design and find new export markets that would be interested in industrially-manufactured interior design items, reports LETA.
The nine designers offer home textiles made of linen, lighting fixtures and decorative sculpture, door panes, various accessories, ceramic crockery, wall panel systems and others.
The LDS is supported by the Latvian Investment and Development Agency.
This year the "Ambiente Loft" fair is taking place from February 12 to February 16. The works by the LDS members will be presented to the public at the "Loft" hall.
