regarding the inventories of museums submitted by the Ministry of Culture.
Third place was given to the Flow-it team, which created an application in the
Commercial Register for the automation of name choice control when establishing
a business. Several special prizes and recognitions were also handed out.
"These three days of hackathon were a test project for
us on how to carry out this competitive solving of e-state challenges. Over the
next two years, we want to organize several similar [projects], where we hope
to see both the same as well as new companies and state institutions as participants,"
Minister of Entrepreneurship and IT Rene
Tammist said. "I hope that the result of this hackathon is the
continuation of real cooperation between the state and several enterprises.
Several of the solutions created here will be ready for immediate use after
some tweaking and would make the functioning of the state more efficient,
simpler and more convenient for people," the minister added.
During the developmental communal work that took place at
the Telliskivi Creative City in Tallinn from Wednesday to Friday, companies had
48 hours to seek solutions to real life problems in the state sector.

Affairs and Communications and Garage48, altogether 18 companies created
solutions to problems submitted by 14 different state institutions.
