The Digital Freedom Festival and Norvik Banka mutual effort to promote financial technology
On November 27th & 28th, however, Digital Freedom Festival will
host Norvik Banka
Investors' Lounge, where more high level discussions on Fintech will take place.
"We're truly delighted to have Norvik Banka
as our official partner for the 2nd consecutive year," says Dagnija
Lejiņa, co-founder and CEO of Digital
Freedom Festival. "We
want corporations and startups to work together in order to boost development
and innovation in the region. Latvia is at the bottom of the list of innovative
development in the EU, even though Latvia has one of the highest growth rates
of innovation. That's why we believe Latvia and the Baltics has the potential
to become a region, where we could see an influx of modern technology
development. With the help and support of our partners, our festival is
progressively becoming a more influential platform for inspiration, education
and networking opportunities. Entrepreneurs must stay up to date on the latest
developments in the tech world in order for them to benefit economic
development in Latvia."
"Norvik
Banka is continuously pursuing a
strategy of supporting digital innovation in order to enhance our ability to
provide financial services for our clients, and to become the leader in this
field," says Oliver Bramwell, CEO of Norvik
Banka. "Cooperating with
the Digital Freedom Festival is an effective way to inform the general public
on the latest developments in FinTech, and to stay in touch with the most
recent trends. We're pleased to continue our partnership with the Digital
Freedom Festival, which undeniably has become one of the most significant
events in the Baltics concerning Fintech."
This
year's main topics at Digital
Freedom Festival will include Smart Cities and Cybersecurity,
Artificial Intelligence, Green Technologies, Fintech and Digital Detox.
Members
of corporations will have the opportunity to meet startup entrepreneurs to
discuss the ways in which their corporate services can become more innovative
and attractive to clients, and a chance to meet policy makers to discuss the
support necessary to foster an innovative environment and boost
entrepreneurship.
