Estonian president to open Slush tech conference in Helsinki

On Tuesday evening, the president will deliver remarks at
the official opening party of Slush organized by Tallinn Music Week, the center
for foreign investments of Enterprise Estonia and the Estonian e-residency
program. On Wednesday, Kaljulaid will meet at Slush with entrepreneurs and
technology champions from Estonia and elsewhere. In the afternoon the head of
state will host a reception for ambassadors accredited to Estonia at the
Estonian embassy in Helsinki, spokespeople for the president said.
Held in Helsinki from Nov. 30 to Dec. 1, Slush is the
region's biggest technology conference bringing together startups, investors
and technology gurus from Europe and elsewhere. Some 2,000 startups, 800
investors and 700 journalists from more than 100 countries are expected to
attend.
Estonians will stage the opening party of the technology
conference in the complex of clubs Kuudes Linja, Kaiku and Stidila in the
Kallio district of Helsinki.
