The largest software development conference in Estonia, Topconf Tallinn 2016, taking place November 15 – 18, 2016 will aim to challenge the status quo of software development, and provide a platform to discuss latest trends and upcoming challenges of IT industry. This year, more than 48 international top-tier speakers from more than 15 European countries as well as from America and Australia, will come to Topconf Tallinn 2016 to inspire more than 300 attendees.

Chris Frei, the organizer of Topconf Tallinn, says that Topconf’s main idea and aim from the early years has been to cover all aspects of software development process, giving attendees a chance to take a step back from their daily work, analyse the process as a whole and get a better understanding of  other elements that make or break a project. “Central idea of the conference is a fact that software development doesn’t only consist of writing codes. Technical skills, data analysis as well as project management, team management, product management and UX are all important and can determine the success of a project. The conference covers full spectrum of topics from work design, intercultural challenges in global project teams to agile software development,” said Frei.

During the four-day conference, attendees can enjoy more than 60 presentations and workshops. Speakers will share different techniques, methods and will talk about JAVA and JVM, project management, front-end development, sustainable development, architecture and big data among other topics. The key speakers of Topconf 2016 are Arie van Bennekum, one of the authors of the Agile Manifesto, who will talk about agile behaviour; Kaspar Kruup, co-founder of Vivic, who will talk about work design and how to transform work into an awesome and engaging experience; and Chris Lukassen, coach and trainer of Innovation Business in Xebia group who will give overview how to translate Judo’s principles to effective product management and how to make the product strategy more better.

Topconf Tallinn 2016, the biggest software conference in Estonia, will be held on 15-18 November at the conference centre of Sokos Hotel Viru.
