Global cybersecurity experts and the IBM Watson's artificial intelligence robot will visit Riga
Widely recognized IBM Watson's artificial intelligence robot NAO for the first time will participate in the DSS ITSEC cyber-security conference which together with Steve Purser, Head of Core Operations of the European Union Network and Information Security Agency, and Philip Zimmermann, creator of the world-famous encryption standard, will speak at the first morning session.
The year of 2016 is famous for several significant events at
European Union's and international level in the context of development of the
digital economy - a widely discussed Personal Data Protection Regulation is
adopted, a common cyber-security strategy for the European Member States is
developed and approved, as well as active work is being carried out to develop
the European Digital Single Market. The participants of the conference will
discuss these and other events of the industry during the nine parallel
sessions throughout the day.
Analysing pros and cons of the global network, the experts will provide their opinions on the issues such as current and future cyber-threats, development and strategy of the modern cyber-market; as well as the recent laws and regulations governing cyber-security and the latest technological solutions of the industry will be discussed. Displays of various experts-hackers from Germany, Great Britain, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Latvia and other countries will be displayed during the conference.
