One of the most prestigious and eagerly-awaited events in the vintage motoring world, the annual fair "Techno Classica Essen" will run from April 15 to April 19 in 2015. Latvian company Riga Master Workshop will also participate, reports Andris Beсers, member of the Board at RMW.

Around 1,200 companies from 22 countries will participate in the fair – restorers, vintage car experts and assessors, antiquity merchants, and people from all over the world who have a passion for vintage cars and wish to see them once again in their original splendour. The popularity of the vintage car fair in Germany is obvious. This is attested to by the increasing numbers of visitors every year, as well as 20 exhibition halls with a total area of up to 23 ha – this is "Techno Classica Essen", a showcase held every spring.

Essen is looking forward to seeing what the Latvian company Riga Master Workshop (RMW) will bring to the fair this year. During the six years the company has been participating, it has won acclaim and praise from even the most demanding viewers. Each of the masterpieces from the company is a true miracle, restored with tremendous affection and care – for a second life that may even be more spectacular and dynamic than the first one.

What are the Latvian craftsmen up to this year? The Latvian company will present a 1967 Mercedes 250SE COUPE and a 1963 Mercedes 220SEb, both restored to the highest standard, and both will be showcased and available for purchase. Furthermore, a 1958 Mercedes 300D Long, which is still in process, will be presented to see the restored suspension, frame, engine, gearbox and everything else that deals with the movement and dynamics of the vehicle – all but the car body.

"We are pleased that vintage car experts from all over the world have come to appreciate the professionalism of our restorers, and the large crowds of visitors at our cars shows it. A vintage car has to be not only beautiful, but also technically impeccable, and that makes the restoration process a unique experience. For Phoenix to be truly reborn from ashes for a new life, one has to be not just a dab hand but also possess a combination of nimble mind and technical creativity. While many fans and afficionados of vintage cars still keep their vehicles disassembled and parts stored in boxes, RMW has the ability and skill to turn a vintage car into a powerful real-life beauty. Virtues such as enthusiasm for work and knowledge are impossible to express in terms measurable in business language, it is something that everyone should see, hear, and feel for himself," says RMW Board Member Andris Beсers.
